Culture Jamming

Link to my culture jamming project

I hope no one took this as a total condemnation of Myspace or Facebook. I actually use both (among other things) for a lot of stuff. I just wanted to sort of get out the message that it shouldn't be the end all thing for your life. It should just be another tool that you use from time to time (like a telephone or something).

I wish

I wish I had been in Japan just a little longer so I could have caught this double feature on the big screen. Kamen Rider Kabuto's like my favorite Japanese TV series, and its movie (God Speed Love) looks to be equally awesome. I guess I'll just have to wait until the DVD comes out though. Oh well.

And how!

On another note, I'll probably upload my culture jam photoshopped thing some time later this week. It's not terribly good, but *shrugs* what are you going to do?

Not tons new (August 28th)

I've exposed myself to more or less the same stuff as last week. Here are two new additions though:

Wizard

The Journey for Desire (a Christian motivational book)

Why:

The issue of Wizard was to both catch me up on comic/movie news as well as just to keep me entertained (aka not going insane from studying for the GRE all weekend long). The Christian motivational book was meant to a) rebuild some of my hope, b) to restore some of my faith, and c) to possibly give myself some direction in life. So yeah, I'm boring. Woo.

Transitioning

I'm moving the stuff I wrote down in my original hard copy media journal to this blog. I'll try and include pictures as well (if I can find them).
